Christmas in the Entryway

Christmas in the Entryway

Welcome to our home! It’s been almost a full year since we moved in last December, and I’m thrilled we’re settled and I can go ALL out on Christmas decor. Our house is a mix of traditional and modern elements, so I like to keep that up when I decorate for the season. I’m releasing our Christmas home tour as three separate posts, and naturally the first up is our entryway/foyer!

This year, we added a tree from King of Christmas to the foyer (use my code ANDSOTHESTOREYBEGINS for 10% off!) and it’s absolutely perfect. I’ve been dreaming of a Christmas tree in the foyer since we moved in. I went back and forth for weeks on what ornaments to get. I only changed it three times after committing to a plan… completely reasonable right?! I love how the magnolia stems (Michaels - in store only) add a little interest, and the pops of gold are so festive. We have mainly shatterproof ornaments (all from Hobby Lobby) on this bad boy, and to be honest you can hardly tell the difference. A few of the smaller ornaments are glass, but they’re tied on tightly with pipe cleaner!

The big wreath print is available from my Etsy shop here! I grabbed these trees from Hobby Lobby and Target a few years back. The little houses are DIY projects from Hobby Lobby (more info on the DIY under the highlight “Christmas” in my Instagram stories). The garland is a local find, but Target’s Hearth and Hand line has a very similar garland that I LOVE - also seen wrapped on my bannister.

I kept two of our year-round pillows out on this bench because they’re so perfect with the antique rug in the entry. I get a lot of questions on this bench, and sadly it’s been out of stock from Target for awhile now! The original artwork above this bench can also be found in my Etsy shop here.

Full disclosure: Decorating a tree a full 360° is not for the faint of heart. I think this tree actually has more va-va-voom than our main tree in the living room because it’s typically seen from a distance!
